Mindy Hurd


Ms. Mindy began twirling when she was eight years old and has performed and competed in a wide variety of venues over the years.  She is a former Collegiate Miss Majorette of Arizona and feature twirler at Arizona State University.  Ms. Mindy has coached twirlers aged 4-college in classes, high school twirling teams and privately in both Arizona and Colorado.  She is also a certified judge for both the United States Twirling Association and the National Baton Twirling Association.

Ms. Mindy has a degree in Elementary Education and has also previously taught elementary school. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, Kent, and puppy, Kora. She also enjoys reading, heading to the mountains, and hoop dancing.

Amanda Jones


Ms. Amanda grew up in Winchester, Tennessee. She twirled baton from the age of 5 years to 14 years. During that time Ms. Amanda attended local, state, and national competitions where she competed in both individual, pairs, and team events. She is a Level 1 Certified Coach with the United States Twirling Association.

Ms. Amanda is also a 1st grade teacher at Monarch K-8. In her free time she likes spending time with her family, running, sewing, and reading. Ms. Amanda’s daughter Anna Claire is also a twirler.
